The Alano Club of Kalamazoo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose object is to provide adequate facilities for meetings and activities of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon and other Twelve Step groups within the recovery community. The club rents space and/or facility use as one way to create revenue to manage and maintain our facility.

 

Any registered Twelve Step group may apply to hold a regularly scheduled meeting or special event in the club by filling out the appropriate paperwork and attending the monthly board meeting. Board meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month at 4 p.m. Any Alano Club member in good standing is welcome to attend board meetings.

Monthly business meetings occur on the second Sunday of the month: 

• Alano Club Entertainment (ACE) committee meeting: 2 p.m. 

• Alano Club fundraising committee meeting: 3 p.m.

• Alano Club board meeting: 4 p.m. 

• Downtown Group steering committee meeting: 5:30 p.m.
